life is a the collection of moments. here are some from my weekend related to textures and lighting.
1. tulips in afternoon sunlight. grandma's kitchen table. i love how delicate the petals are.

2. these little pieces of ice were hitch-hiking a ride on a larger island of ice as it floated down the river.

I love the little snapshots of beauty... they are worthy moments because they take the mind off of all other seemingly trivial matters for.
I also love your profile picture, for some reason it makes me think asian thoughts and pictures of Japanese porcelain and tea come to mind...

and thanks! hmmm, jasmine tea in a procelain cup come to my mind from the pic. and a quiet springish kind of life, gently arriving to wipe away winter.
I love both pictures, though I'm a bit biased towards the tulips picture as they are my favorite flowers on the planet. Just gorgeous!
